AUTONOMIC NERVOUS SYSTEM AND VASCULAR FUNCTION ASSESSMENT: (SUDO,ANS & ABI)
Fatigue, Headache, Dizziness ,Exercise intolerance, Fainting, Tingling in the toes or fingers, Claudication, Painful muscle cramping in the hips, thighs or calves when walking, climbing stairs or exercising.

SUDO Testing of autonomic nervous system function; sudomotor, including 1 or more of the following: quantitative sudomotor axon reflex test (QSART), silastic sweat imprint, thermoregulatory sweat test, and changes in sympathetic skin potential

ANS Testing of autonomic nervous system function; cardiovagal innervation (parasympathetic function), including 2 or more of the following: heart rate response to deep breathing with recorded R-R interval, Valsalva ratio, and 30:15 ratio

ABI An ankle-brachial index (ABI) test is a simple way for your doctor to check how well your blood is flowing. They use this test to check for peripheral artery disease (PAD).

Ankle–brachial pressure index. The ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) or ankle-brachial index (ABI) is the ratio of the blood pressure at the ankle to the blood pressure in the upper arm (brachium). … The ABPI is calculated by dividing the systolic blood pressure at the ankle by the systolic blood pressure in the arm.

The EVox® System – Aiding Doctors In The Diagnosis Of Cognitive Disorders
The eVox® System is a medical device that enables primary and specialty care physicians to assess brain function in-office and use the results to aid in making a clinical diagnosis.

eVox acquires biomarkers based on electroencephalography (EEG) and Event-related Potentials (ERP) that may aid doctors in:

– identifying the root cause of memory loss
– identifying MCI and memory loss sooner
– performing a differential diagnosis of depression vs. dementia

Evoked potential tests measure the time it takes for the brain to respond to sensory stimulation either through sight, sound, or touch. Doctors use the test to help diagnose multiple sclerosis (MS) and other conditions that can cause a person’s reactions to slow. The test can detect unusual responses to stimulation

The eVox System is a medical device that measures brain health to aid doctors in the diagnosis of cognitive disorders. By measuring brain function directly, physicians can enhance their clinical work-up beyond standard subjective patient questionnaires. eVox provides clinically actionable and objective biomarkers of brain health pertinent to conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, mild cognitive impairment, and other cognitive disorders.

Memory Loss Biomarkers
Memory loss is a brain problem. But how can you know what is happening in the brain unless you look? Introducing eVox®, the memory loss biomarker test that aids in diagnosis by measuring the brain. eVox may help you:

– Detect memory loss and MCI sooner
– Identify the root cause of memory loss
– Perform differential diagnosis of dementia vs. pseudodementia

OSTEOARTHRITIS KNEE, Shoulder INJECTION
Corticosteroid injections may provide immediate relief from pain and inflammation. Relief may last up to 24 weeks. Hyaluronic acid injections may take longer to provide relief, but the benefits can last three to six months. Side effects from hyaluronic acid may be less severe than those from corticosteroid injections.

ECHO AND CAROTID DOPPLER
An echocardiogram (echo) is a graphic outline of the heart’s movement. During an echo test, ultrasound (high-frequency sound waves) from a hand-held wand placed on your chest provides pictures of the heart’s valves and chambers and helps the sonographer evaluate the pumping action of the heart. Echo is often combined with Doppler ultrasound and color Doppler to evaluate blood flow across the heart’s valves.

The test is used to:
Assess the overall function of your heart

– Determine the presence of many types of heart disease, such as valve disease, myocardial disease, pericardial disease, infective endocarditis, cardiac masses and congenital heart disease
– Follow the progress of valve disease over time
– Evaluate the effectiveness of your medical or surgical treatments

Allergy Test

Injectables

Allergy vaccination is a clinically documented effective treatment that considerably reduces or completely removes the patient’s allergic symptoms and the need for symptom-masking medication. Desensitization to the offending allergen results in fewer symptoms and medication needs, and can actually alter the underlying disease. The treatment has a longstanding effect after it is discontinued. And as the natural aggravation of the allergic disease is inhibited, the development of asthma or new allergies may be prevented.

The therapy involves controlled doses of purified allergens (proteins), extracted from natural allergen sources such as pollens (grass, trees, etc.), dust mites, animals and insect stings. During the treatment, the immune system is gradually desensitised, so the patient becomes accustomed to allergens that normally cause an allergic reaction.

Sublingual Drops

Although most people who suffer from allergies can benefit from allergy drops, many people are not aware of this worthy alternative. Much like vaccine therapy, sublingual immunotherapy delivers a gradually increasing dose of FDA-approved antigen that, over time, can build the body’s tolerance to an allergy. Drops are placed under the tongue and affect the immune system through the mouth – the dendric cells through the oral mucosa. For some, this is a friendlier route to building the tolerance.

Sublingual immunotherapy has been used around the world for more than 60 years, and studies show that allergy drops are safe and effective. The World Health Organization has endorsed sublingual immunotherapy as a viable alternative to injection therapy.

Sublingual drops offer some key advantages:

– Drops are especially helpful for people who don’t tolerate or don’t respond to shots.
– Drops can help a broader range of patients safely and effectively.
– Because they can be safely, effectively and painlessly administered by the patient at home, patient compliance improves significantly.

Bottom Line:

If you suspect allergies, test for allergies. Figure out the true cause of the symptoms and then have a plan to manage the disease through avoidance and elimination of the allergens, environmental controls, and immunotherapy if necessary.
